The Nutrition Initiative at Hour of Grace Educational Complex

In August of 2023, we started sponsoring lunches at Hour of Grace Educational Complex. We are working with a nutrition consulting firm, Healthmates Nutrition, to implement a nutrition program to combat malnutrition and improve health outcomes for both students and community members.

Adenkrebi Basic School Nutrition Initiative

H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow Inc., partnered with the Alliance for African Women Initiative to sponsor our first Nutrition Initiative, “The Adenkrebi Basic School Nutrition Initiative,” at Adenkrebi Basic School in Accra, Ghana.

Through the initiative, over 300 students have been fed, a school garden developed where crops are used for food for lunches, and a chicken coop was built for the school’s poultry farm.

Mission: Spread Hope, Give Love -

In October 2022, H.O.P.E. For Tomorrow launched its mission program to serve the needs of disadvantaged communities, evangelize, and pray with those who would like prayer. Our first mission took place in Ghana and our second one was in October of 2023. Through the program we have been able to feed 348 people, and clothe and provide medical care to homeless teen mothers, children, and women.

Hour of Grace Preparatory School - School Transportation Project

When members of H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow heard that Hour of Grace Preparatory School in the western region of Ghana no longer had transportation, we sprung into action. With the help of donors, we were able to raise $8,000 to purchase a van so students would not have to walk 3-miles on dangerous roads to school.

Building Assistance

H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow’s donors were able to raise $500 to purchase concrete for Hour of Grace Preparatory School in Ghana. Before the foundation was placed, students without a seat would sit on a dirt floor. We are planning to raise more funding to assist with the completion of the school.

Portable Water

Members of H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow were able to donate $600 to provide a community and school in Ghana with access to running water. Before the family received water, they would carry buckets of water on a 15-minute walk to and from their nearest water site.

Delivery Supplies

In Ghana, mothers are required to purchase items for their delivery, and the amount for supplies can be more than what some mothers have.

After hearing a first-time mom’s story, we were able to raise approximately $1,000 for her delivery supplies and enough money to help support her family while she was out of work.

Food Baskets

While working in the education system and learning how some students are unable to eat during holiday breaks from school, Tonja wanted to do something to help. Members of H.O.P.E. for Tomorrow and donors were able to raise over $1,000 to purchase food and hats and gloves for a second grade class at Excel Academy Public Charter School in Washington, D.C.
