Program Fee and Deposit Policy

Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable:
All deposits and/or program fees paid toward any of our travel programs — including 100% Volunteer Trips, 100% Tourism Trips, and Volunteer + Tourism Combination Trips — are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
This includes, but is not limited to:

Trip cancellations by the participant for any reason (personal, medical, work-related, etc.)

Changes to your availability, travel preferences, or decision not to participate

Inability to secure travel documents such as passports, visas, or vaccinations

Any force majeure events, such as natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or travel bans

Payment Terms

A deposit is required to secure your place on the trip.

The remaining balance must be paid by the specified due date in the package details.

Failure to complete full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund.

Program Changes or Cancellations by Helping Other People Excel for Tomorrow and Hope Beyond Borders.

In rare cases where Helping Other People Excel for Tomorrow and Hope Beyond Borders. must cancel or significantly modify a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered:

The option to apply their paid program fee toward a rescheduled trip within 12 months, or

A partial refund at Helping Other People Excel for Tomorrow and Hope Beyond Borders. discretion, minus unrecoverable expenses already incurred.

Trip Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical coverage, and emergency evacuation.

Travel insurance is the participant’s responsibility and is not included in the program fee.
